AN ENEMY INTO AN ANEMONY

Clownfish, so named because of their aggressive activity and movements, lived in a beneficial symbiotic relationship in and with a very specific type of an anemone. They are the only fish that are not stung to death by their benefactor provided the clownfish maintains its slimy mucus covering.  Thus, no predator of the clown can get near the anenome and no polyp eating fish nor butterfly fish will chew on the anenome because of the aggressiveness of the clownfish towards these fish.  The clownfish also gobbles up the scraps left by its host in addition to keep water fanned through the anenome.
